Assistant Professor, Animal Science
Dr. Aridany Suarez Trujillo joined the Department of Animal Science in the Fall of 2021. He participated in multiple projects involving small ruminant lactation, newborn care and animal product quality as a Graduate student. He developed projects related to mammary gland development and newborn development as a postdoc researcher in the Department of Animal Science at Purdue University. He has experience working with dairy cattle, swine and laboratory mice. At Berry, he has great interest in student mentorship and teaching innovation. Since his arrival at Berry, Dr. Suarez has mentored multiple students on their research projects focused on lactating livestock health.
